Mickey 17 2025
Bong Joon Ho’s first film post Parasite is not the type of film you’d expect it to be, unless you’ve read the book. took a lot of liberties from the text, but still held on to the weird pervasive humor. reallly obvious who they were basing Marshall off, clear commentary of our current political climate.
rob was great, as was steven yeun, even tho they completely rewrote the character he was in the book vs the film.
kinda long, but the humor and dry cut satire was worth it.

of course on my 30th birthday, i had to rip this classic.
hoping to bring “thirty, flirty, and thriving” into my 30s (also sick dance mobs).
love this feel good, find yourself again, and celebrate life for what it is movie.Translated from by -
A Real Pain 2024
really enjoyed this. very direct and straightforward with the premise and plot, but unlocked and opened space for deep emotional responses and growth.
hysterical and cringey, felt right.
