Conclave 2024
Was really captivated by the first half of this. I loved the political intrigue, the pacing, the score. It was very exciting.
But I don’t think it quick sticks the landing.
The first twist, as I saw, felt too obvious to me. I think so much of the movie hinges on it, and I don’t think it totally works.
The second “twist,” I did not see coming, and I thought was much more interesting.
