Contract 2008
A mildly engaging Departed inspired spy vigilante thriller by RGV, plush with quirky B movie tropes, aggressive cacophony for a music score, monosyllabic conversations, and a lead actor who’s too earnestly hammy for the character in question. The only thing that truly works though is the unpredictably manic chemistry between Upendra Limaye and Amruta Subhash as a gangster couple, evading enemies on a private yacht in the middle of nowhere, loving, laughing, fighting and having plenty of fun within the absurdity of an RGV crime universe
