    Death of a Unicorn

    ★★★½

Death Of A Unicorn is just okay. It has a cool premise and an excellent first half. But, once the action starts to kick off, the film suffers. Jurassic Park, this is not. Jenna Ortega and Will Poulter are the best parts about it.

    Black Bag

    ★★★★

Black Bag is a smart espionage thriller that manages to give each actor in its talented ensemble a complex part to play. Two standouts for me are Tom Burke and Regé-Jean Page. If this is Page’s audition for James Bond, he kills it. Steven Soderbergh and David Koepp deliver.

If Mia Goth has a million fans, I’m one of them. If Mia Goth has a thousand fans, I’m one of them. If Mia Goth has a hundred fans, I’m one of them. If Mia Goth has 10 fans, I’m one of them. If Mia Goth has 1 fan, I’m him. If Mia Goth has no fans, I’m dead and I hope it’s her who killed me.

    Lightyear

    ★★

By far, this is one of Pixar’s most unmemorable movies. It is visually beautifully and Keke Palmer brings some spark to Izzy Hawthorne, but MY GOD what was Pixar thinking? They are better than this. None of these characters are remotely fascinating or new. The story has potential, but just falls under the usual tropes. One of the biggest disappointments is Buzz Lightyear himself who is a boring character. Chris Evans adds some levity, but it’s drowned out by the weak script. The robots are cool and Sox is cute though.
