I love when you can tell how much hard work went into making a film. The sets were spectacular, vibrant, and other worldly. The co-mains were inspired and stunning. The musical numbers were captivating. The costumes were mesmerizing. And the viewing experience was magic.

I knew very very little about this world before taking my seat in the theater. Now it’s all I can think about. I can’t wait to follow this film during the award season.

    Ep. One:
The Batman was a delicious entree and now we get a little sweet treat. Max is putting a lot of effort into this mini series so there are some high expectations. So far, they’re well met. Colin Farrell holds it down. I’d be one of his goons without question. God I love Mob Boss stories.

Bruce Campbell told some dickhead at the world premiere to, and I quote “get the fuck out of here” because he was throwing a tantrum. Some people will never get to experience the joy of seeing that happen and that saddens me.

Evil Dead Rise is a twisted bloodbath that will have you anointing your house before going to bed after your viewing.

Now excuse me as I go to therapy to recover from everything that I saw tonight.

I don’t say this often in my reviews but.. fuck this was perfect. This film genuinely left me feeling hopeful for the future. The cinematography is precious and upholds the worth of this film on its own. The story is nothing less than spectacular. But, it’s the characters that make National Anthem truly special. They each express a unique identity while teaching those around them of their ways of life through love. I’m thankful that this exists!
