  Loved it. Rich colors. Almost every scene submerged with music that perfectly informs the emotional cues.....gonna binge Douglas Sirk now. Have to. Every time he cuts, it feels like “yes! that’s exactly where the camera should be.” Idk. If you were to skip through this movie—glancing at certain frames—it might look like a dozen other movies from the 50s.  But after having seen it all the way through I have to imagine this was a towering standout for its time.…
