My favorite quote is from Oliver Reed and it's the single most self-indulgent line I've ever read.

Last Resort 1986
I refer to films like this as secret sevens and normally rate them a six or a five because despite finding value in them I have some sense of self respect. As my rating notes, I'm not feeling a lot of self respect. I laughed out loud at this not good movie that was pretty good. Phil Hartman and Charles Grodin in a gay stare off wasn't on my movie bucket list but it should've.

Mad Max: Fury Road 2015
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
After seeing this and not being let down by what I had feared would be a movie that lacked the courage to go full car chase, I was in the bathroom and two fine young gentlemen were discussing their feelings after having watched the same film as I. One remarked that the movie had no plot. It was simply driving one way, then the other with a bunch of car crashes and deaths along the way. I felt compelled to add my own opinion so I said, "Do you realize you just described the greatest movie I've ever heard of?" He replied, "I know, right?"

____________________________________________________________I'd watch a character study about a teenage girl wanting to pursue her dream of dancing if it starred Michael Fassbender (I actually did just that when I sat through Fish Tank), so a western that he helped produce is something that I would starve myself for a couple months (see what I'm doing here?) to get to see.
