  miyazaki is criticizing reality but would rather live in a random dream world filled with weird birds and characters that look like someone trying to draw pokemon from memory.

  it takes an hour for it to really start going and when it does it's a very arbitrary nearly plotless film about mommy issues and a creator who’s clearly miyazaki that wants to pass down his world to the future that felt so empty and unclimactic. can we stop overrating and…
