    Kinda torn - this one is fading a little in my memory, and it felt like a lot of little moments just didn’t land quite like they were supposed to, but also my theater wasn’t laughing and I know that makes a difference. 

    This is gonna go down as the new version of “did you know Starship Troopers came out before 9/11?” and it legitimately makes my chest tight.

    “Papá, I wanted to enjoy that ‘Annihilation’ movie you showed me, but I fell asleep for all the nuance and dreamed instead that I was playing Call of Duty. Papá can you make me another movie instead?”

    Also I have so many thoughts about the musical choices in this movie just ask me about them when you see me. Fucking rancid, 1.5 includes an extra half for Anya.
