  Upon second watch, really enjoyed the film. I think this film could’ve easily been ham fisted and executed poorly, especially considering the time it was released. It manages to be very relevant, and it doesn’t try very hard to do so. Excellent performance from Sebastian Stan and the direction and editing was excellent. It should’ve been up for a few awards.

  Beautiful looking movie that adapts the original while also adapting and interpolating its original material very well. The performances are all great, and it’s a remake that does its predecessors justice.
