Enjoyed this quite a bit! Some excellent scenery/cinematography. Great score. Juicy drama. Compelling performances. It’s a little Oscar bait-y, and not sure it will be a movie people remember or re-watch years from now… but I was involved for its runtime.

I try not to hand out half-star reviews often, but I genuinely disliked nearly every minute of this. Awkward casting and acting. Terrible soundtrack. Confusing dialogue and storyline. It’s not entertaining or intriguing and really has very little to say.

Superb pacing and building of tension. Loved the payoff at the end, even though it crosses into unrealistic territory. The special effect of one of the final moments in the film is disturbing and effective.
