I mostly liked it. It was beautifully shot. Some stuff was great. Other stuff was kinda brought down by not one, but TWO attacks by 'savages' out of no where. It felt weird in a 2018 movie.

If you mapped out every choice made in this film and at each fork in the road you took the dumbest direction, you're end up with this movie. Every decision is the dumbest. That being said, I had a good time as my husband whispered snaky comments throughout that made me laugh a lot.

This is my favorite movie.

It's not the best movie ever, but it's my favorite. I don't need to tell you how awesome it is. I only remove a star because even at age 12 i knew some of their technical jargon was nonsense. It's not a unix system. It's just not.

So funny and thrilling. The lead is so charming in his awkwardness.
The scene with his family had me dying laughing.
There's a really incredible knock-down-drag-out fight in the film too.
