George Miller really just needs to be given a blank cheque to make nutso bangers for the rest of his days because honestly, the sheer magnitude of inventiveness he crams into this huge, lumbering war rig is insane to witness. The fact he was able to do it, and pull it off, after having sharpened the story that follows it down to a diamond rapier point is a level of manic range that we’re blessed to be able to watch.
