  Overall decent, just not my kind of film. Seemed a little bit too inspired by a clockwork orange in some parts, especially in the monologues, bar sequences and the past coming back to haunt him. I like the way it was made but I don’t like the characters themselves. I’m torn. Some good elements, some that I don’t like. I won’t ever sit down and watch this film because “I want to”

  Probably my favourite taika waititi film. The second one of his that I saw, probably around 5 or 6 years ago. I find this to be his most relatable and realistic film. The way it’s shot, acted and written really work stylistically. It’s impressive for a relatively low budget film.
