  1) You can’t just give a protagonist a fedora and have him do voiceovers and call it noir. I mean you can, but that doesn’t mean it won’t fucking suck. 

  2) For anyone who might be wondering why I have been logging such god-awful movies, it’s because I watch the bad ones by myself and save the good ones to watch with Nancy and we just haven’t watched a lot of movies together recently. So you’re just going to have to keep seeing my shitty modern thrillers pop up on your feed.
