  Damn… I wished I liked this one more a lot more than I did. Some flashes of brilliance in this (or at the very least, things that are definitely up my alley). But overall, I found myself slightly disappointed by it all. I just think this could’ve been told in a much more fun and interesting way, IMO.

  In any case, Ray Nicholson fucking kills it in this. If you get any sort of net positive out of this from haters and fans alike, it’s that his character is legitimately great.

  I’m honestly at a loss for words right now. An overwhelming movie in every sense, skewering me emotionally. A masterpiece. Nolan’s masterpiece. The best film of the year.

  Just everything firing on all cylinders with this bad boy. The acting, writing, directing, editing, cinematography, score. Just… fuck.
