  use to watch this movie as a kid and it literally is so good!! the costumes, the music, the acting, the dancing, the everything!! dick van dyke is obviously a start but so are the actors that play his children - they're so innocent and cute i just love them!!!!

  can you guess which scene scared the shit out of me as a kid? (hint: it involves a guy literally called the childcatcher)

  oh my god this was like a panic attack stretched into 90 mins but i enjoyed every single second. while the camera work and dialogue reminds me a bit of the bear, imo it's so much better. the pacing, the characters, the everything just made me feel at awe and the ending?? ya got real emotional because it genuinely felt like my dad's business was blowing up before my eyes. stephen graham everything you touch turns to gold!!!
