was absolutely razzle dazzled by the first act (title sequence! color grading! light flares!), but wasn’t expecting to get seriously rocked by the second. dread and deflation. the age old tale of capitalist/proprietor exploitation of the immigrant/laborer.

the bombastic, bone chilling score stole the show.

brody (who couldn’t be more handsome if he tried) and pearce were unbelievable, but joe alwyn kept pulling me out of it with his theatrical american accent. 

however felt like there were some plot holes…
