Great cast of underwritten characters & everyone's sweating their tits off while giving it their all, pre-Mconasseance Matt is really good as the lead & more than holds his own against some well established heavyweights. It's a bit longwinded, structurally a little messy & Eastwood's style might be a bit too straight for the subject but a good biopic none the less & Whittikar is great as Bird.
Would have been interesting to see someone with a bit more experimentation take this on & give it a bit more life but a fitting tribute to one of the greats.

I feel actual contempt after seeing this. The first 20 mins were unberable & led into an abomination of fan service multi-verse nonsense with Ryan Reynolds turning the try hard up to 11. Nothing matters & there's no real stakes left, Marvel just feels lifeless at this point & we're here to watch them play around with the remains & try to re-animate the corpse to keep the cash flowing.
Other than the big names we're also wheeling out characters/actors people don't care about…
The Boz really ain't bad at all, carries himself well in an action vehicle & pulls out enough charisma to make you wonder why it didn't happen for him. Maybe he was just a few years too late in the game. Lance Henriksen & Bill Forsythe are both unhinged & run away with the show.
Some top stunt work & crazy action scenes with a blow out finale, came in expecting complete laughable shit & was nicely surprised. Highly recommended if 80's/90's action is your thing.
