  I spent so much of this movie hoping she was being probed by aliens or something to mask the depressing truth beneath it all. This film, in my opinion, is about what we can put onto the individual. Carol is an affluent blank slate of a human being, sure, but I think that blaming her for her illness is too cruel and misses the point. Roads still always snake around your porcelain lined safe space igloos, you know? Her life…
