  I enjoyed that and thought it did what it set out to do really. A great supporting cast too and Pamela Anderson is wonderful and fits the role so well and she never feels inauthentic or pretentious. Sure it could have done more but it was still a good 89 minutes, and Gia Coppolla channels Francis with brief One from the Heart esc imagery which I enjoyed a lot.

  Very slick, cool and efficient and is everything you want from Soderbergh working with a cast like this. It's refreshing to see this in a tight 90 minute film rather stretched into an 8 part, dull Disney+ miniseries.

  Bong Joon Ho, you've charmed me. The cast, the visual effects, the anti-capitalism and anti-Trump messaging, mwah! Every single cast member was superb, and it feels like I could watch this another 15 (or 17) times and still not get bored, and I might just. A film that's so up my street that it's moved in with me, superb.

  The first hour of this was one of the best hours of a film I think I've ever seen and I adored it. Unfortunately, that was a double-edged sword as it forces the film to slow down a lot after that, almost like they remembered they still had an hour left to fill.
