  Maybe it just didn't click for me, but I didn't enjoy this movie. To me there's more to a good satire than just over inflating every plot element to the point where it feels like the directors biggest fear is that you miss the point. I would have really wished for a more subtle approach, which would have also given the 140 minutes of runtime a better chance to actually have some "substance" lol.

  Despite all that, it does feature some great performances and interesting cinematography.

  But see for yourself :) it definitely left a mark

  First of all, I really liked the cinematography. You can feel the experimental nature of the French new wave and there were quite a few scenes where the unique filming style really caught me off guard . The fact that it's set in 60s Paris might also help, but it's just a very nice film to look at. 
  I liked the concept of telling a story in (almost) real time, but imo the plot suffers a bit as theres just not that much going on. 
  Overall still a very unique and interesting film that I definitely have to give a rewatch sometime..
