Honestly a fantastic achievement, both as a piece of film and as a story. An absolutely heartbreaking, nuanced, caring but honest portrayal of a tragedy and very relevant problem. There are no easy answers, there is no one singular bad guy to point to or horrific family to place the blame on, no tidy conclusion. The best thing Netflix has put on air in a long time.

It's ok I guess! I liked the creepy monster design and the way they make the most out of limited resources really helps. A few more answers might have been nice. Good acting though, and I for one didn't mind the pace or the "spoilers" presented by the documentary style.

This was a hard watch. If you come from a family where the cycle of trauma still has a tight grip on you all, you will see yourself somewhere in this documentary. Maybe the story isn't exactly the same, but there was just so much hard and painful truth in this for me and I'm sure many others.
