    EXCELLENT micro-horror! Scary, exciting, and melancholic all at once. The third act drops off just a teeny bit, but since I still am thinking about what it could have all meant, it certainly left a good impression on me.

    Wouldn’t have been that bad if it were shorter. McKay’s satire is very hit or miss, and it is here, too, but once you get past the bluntness and enjoy the silliness of some of it, it kind of works. Like sketch comedy.

    Two major issues:
    1. Mean-spiritedness is not inherently funny. I get they’re trying to be “relatable”, but mean-spiritedness is almost never funny when it is aimed at the likeable characters incessantly.
