Hello everyone I'm Louis and I love Robert Eggers... I'm an Egghead.

Loved the Lighthouse, loved the Northman and I *really* loved Nosferatu. I need a sequel... I want more: Nosfera-two?

The building sense of dread throughout the film was fantastic, the set and costume design deserved every award, the over-the-top performances were a joy. Simon McBurney in particular was a delight as Herr Knock.

I don't know if there are many gothic films like this around, but I'll cherish everyone I come across ♥️

    The Devil Wears Prada

    ★★★

I give this film 3 cerulean blue sweaters out of 5.

Meryl Streep is a tour de force, Hathaway and Tucci are also great. The first half of the film will draw you in every time it's on.

My beef with this film is that the happy ending feels like it validates the dickhead boyfriend and getting him back is some kind of silver lining. Emily's experience was worth a try and she basically succeeded but chose to step away, so why does this bland hot chef boy get to waltz back in and take the moral high ground. Pish.

Guess whose back on the news? Your favourite Republican hoods...

Kneecap should be massive - unless I've missed it, it hasn't had a lot of mainstream coverage and it really deserves it.

It's a great laugh and the band do a great job of playing themselves. I don't think there are enough truly funny and silly coming of age comedies these days, and this does a great job of being that. Go see it!

    Alien: Covenant

No spoilers. I adored this. A perfect addition to the Alien canon.

This film had suspense, body horror, and Danny McBride. What more could you ask for?

This does a great job of picking up the pieces from Prometheus, and actually succeeds in explaining the origins of Alien, in brutal gory fashion.

There's not much more praise I can heap onto this film without just describing the plot. But one thing I really loved, was that this was the first…
