I really wanted to love this film, but I ultimately feel let down by it. I thought that perhaps this would be a film about the beauty of rock and stone, about the grief of natural disaster, about rebuilding and recovering from destruction.

the unintended irony is that the "fast-food burger" at the end of the film is hand made by a professional chef on site with fresh ingredients at the demand of a single customer- there is no retreat to proletarian moral purity, everything is corrupted
