that humpy sucker almost got away with it too if it wasn’t for… love.
I couldn’t help but think he sort of looked and sounded like a scooby villain… (though unmasking him wouldn’t have really gone over well 🤮)

Drowning by Numbers 1988
Some of the most marvelous frames in my cinematic memory… but somehow no humanity or soul in this one. Overly indulgent in its “intelligence”, this flick hopes to be some sort of satire, but of what I have no idea. Women like to drown fat men with little penises?
Side note: Wes Anderson ripped this cinematographic style. Evident. And that’s okay. Wessy also seems to have ripped the “devoid of light, devoid of human soul” element too… but I know those Wes fans out there would disagree.
