A decent sci/fi action anime with a thin plot but lots of cool stylistic animation. I dug the vibes and everything else was just an add on.

This definitely got oversold as “the most disturbing movie of the year”. Idk maybe I’m just super desensitized.
Not a fun watch at all, but I can at least say it was effective in what it was trying to pull off. I felt sick to my stomach, and you just want him to tell the truth but how can you admit something like that?

One of the all-time-classic stoner movies, but not in a fun way. Visually and sonically hypnotizing, I saw it in a theater and I don't think it would have been as effective in my living room. The sense of doom is palpable, but also makes you weirdly ok with it? Like yep, we're all fucked, look at this crazy footage and listen to this wild score!
My friend had a panic attack right before the movie started and had to leave and he never came back.
