  Doesn’t really bring anything new to the genre, but it does have some nice visual style and 80s vibes that I dug. 
  FlyLo music is cool but can sometimes take away from the horror, and overall the movie just isn’t scary despite the countless jump scares that aren't earned at all. 
  Despite that it just glad we are getting weird sci-fi horror in theaters so I still liked it.

  A decent sci/fi action anime with a thin plot but lots of cool stylistic animation. I dug the vibes and everything else was just an add on.

  One of the all-time-classic stoner movies, but not in a fun way. Visually and sonically hypnotizing, I saw it in a theater and I don't think it would have been as effective in my living room. The sense of doom is palpable, but also makes you weirdly ok with it? Like yep, we're all fucked, look at this crazy footage and listen to this wild score!

  My friend had a panic attack right before the movie started and had to leave and he never came back.

  Gotta say I really like when Bong Joon-Ho does sci-fi and this is very on brand from him. Biting political commentary, a somber tone in contrast with wacky comedy. Ruffalo is having fun playing a Trump stand in, and Pattinson is impressive in a double role here.

Following
