How convenient that I watch this movie now. I used to have exactly Bruce’s job, down to covering happy stories around the city, but I basically got laid off a couple of days ago. Luckily for Morgan Freeman, I have another job lined up so I won’t be cursing him out anytime soon.

I am officially the last person to ever watch this movie legally (I finished it at 2:15 AM).
That morbid realization aside, this was a charming time. It does become a bit annoying how Nate just kind of coasts through everything with little to no real problems aside from drama, but Rueby Wood's bouncy lead performance is sure to put a smile on anyone's face. Not to mention the theater jokes (did NOT expect an Avenue Q vs. Wicked reference…
