I knew going into this that it would be a challenging watch, even more so since I've lost a child. What I was not prepared for was the manner in which these incidences happened. I won't spoil it, but let's just say it was very uncomfortable to hear these stories and sympathize with the parents. A very complicated look at a very horrifying potential.

I was very excited for this sequel to the newer adaptations of this franchise. The work put into the story and effects in the previous trilogy is truly stunning. This newest entry is no less thrilling.

A movie so good that even Sean Connery can't bring it down!

I'm a sucker for Nicolas Cage, and I'm also a sucker for Michael Biehn. Anything that either of them are in is probably going to get a fairly high ranking from me.

This is Michael Bay at his best. A pulse-pounding thrill ride including great dialogue, great action, and great tension, The Rock will surely be a crowd pleaser. And its VFX still hold up today just as they did in '96. If you haven't seen this, I hope you have atropine ready, because this rocket is taking off.
