Laughed too much for it being an unironic horror film.
Orlock and Vlad Tepes/Dracula were intermingled too much with the awkard and rushed Knock (off) Renfield character, Orlock's Waluigi moustache à la Vlad, and Ellen's character had a weirdly-forced and surface-level "background arc" (she was attacked once in a field, I guess) with the Count.
"You would have been a priestess of Isis. You were born with the power in you. Only you can save us." Sounds like some quasi-Mary Sue bs. Emma's character was perfectly viable and compelling without this awkward "origin" arc.
