  was distressed watching this cause it reminded me so much of my intense fling w the 6’5 marxist photographer w a heavy NY accent who wrote poetry about me & showed up w flowers half my height every date. goodbye. 

  beautiful film, pairs well with Eternal Sunshine which I saw earlier this week - love is worth it even if temporary.

  even if relationships are doomed to end they’re still worth it - feels timely in this transition period of my life, being in college, learning how to build authentic relationships, and trying to be present when everything is temporary. 

  What resonated with me the most was the acceptance at the end, Joel’s acceptance of himself, of Clementine with her flaws, and the inevitable end of the relationship. Isn’t it so human and sweet, that they decided it’s still worth it.
