Truly a masterclass in horror. I was immersed almost instantly and on the edge of my seat for every second. Deeply unsettling and an absolute classic. I also loved the effects and think they’re especially noteworthy for the way they contributed to the overall atmosphere. Overall, such a great watch and I look forward to revisiting!

The Lost Boys 1987
The visuals are great and this film is so quintessentially 80's to me. The intersection of horror and comedy and drama is well done and really enjoyable to see. I love this spin on a vampire movie because it’s a modern (for its time) take but it’s still vampiric and dated in a way that makes it more of an interesting watch. The soundtrack is also noteworthy. Overall, a great watch and I’m glad it was recommended to me <3
