I’ve been slowly watching all the 80s , 90s Hong Kong movies that I either missed or have never heard about in the last 3 to 4 years and every time I felt like I’ve seen everything, I find something completely out of left field that just surprises me. that 90s Hong Kong cocaine must’ve been hella strong. This c tier Andy lau ET Indiana jones James Bond kung fu action adventure flick honestly at times it was so bad it’s good , and at some other times are actually pretty fucking cool

The Intern 2015
I sucked up to all the wholesome feel good mushiness this movie was. A time capsule when we weren’t sick of all tech business stuff and we’re still naive that anyone actually saw their customers as more than just mere numbers. And yet it is despite everything about the tech world this movie was wrong about , I fell hard for the friendship, and the connection the Ben and Jules had, and did feel some comfort that maybe all I need is a good friend.
Not sure about the ending though. Can’t trust a cheater

Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom 1975
Thanks Skot, I hated it.
honestly though I didn't, I love multiple scenes in this movie and thought it was very well crafted and at times beautiful despite the subject matter. I love the nightmareish, surreal dream like vibes you get out of certain scenes, especially when it came to the story telling sequences with the piano playing in the background. They are at the same time disturbing and entrancing. And what more can I say about probably the most…Translated from by -
Roh 2019
slow atmospheric, while quietly creeps under your skin. This slow burn horror movie lets the darkness and stillness of the forest to create the sense of isolation, helplessness and paranoia of the supernaturals.
The story though falls flat for me toward the end of the movie, and an extra 10 mins would help to explain the story, as even on my second viewing, I'm still unsure of the purpose of certain shots towards the end.
