  what a gorgeous, heart wrenching, and timely film. This film is so, so, important for Brazil and the world today. I immediately thought of 2016, when then-MP Jarl Bolsonaro dedicated his vote for the impeachment of President Dilma Rousseff with the quote to “the memory of Colonel Carlos Alberto Brilhante Ustra, the terror of Dilma Rousseff”. Carlos was the head of the dictatorship’s secret police and personally disappeared dozens of individuals. This film definitionally opposes facism and the likes of Bolsonaro.
