  I forgot how much fun this movie is. I saw another reviewer note how the sexual subtexts are so dated that they almost seem ironic, and if that were the case, this movie is hysterical. Definitely “problematic” by today’s standards, but really a delightful showcase in song, dance, and color! I love this one.

  What an adorable movie that perfectly showcases the chemistry between Hepburn and Grant. I’ve loved these two and this movie for so long, they’re like old friends of mine.

  Vulgar in the best, most pre-code way possible, Jean Harlow sizzles in this. What I love most about Jean is her ability to add a sense of vulnerability to her characters, which makes them all the more relatable and easy to love. 

  This is one of those definitive pre-codes that everyone should see. Also bonus for a young Charles Boyer!
