  Harder to fully enter the French revolutionary spirit when watching with a naysayer. Why did anyone do any of the things they did? I found it disappointingly tricky to say. Have been chanting look down look down you’ll always be a slave while performing all my tasks this morning

  That all got a bit much at the end didn’t it!! Felt like I had to avert my eyes out of politeness like when people are arguing or crying in public. Real credit though for keeping me interested in a court trial film, really wasn’t bored once - thanks quick cuts to action and mounting outrage. While I thought Jerry Ruben shouting ‘does she ever mention me’ after the prosecution was one of the funniest bits it’s prob less jarring…
