  Leave it to the US military to come up with the dumbest plan imaginable in the case of an outbreak.

  Everyone already has their own private room- maybe just have them all lock their doors to prevent the insanely contagious disease from super spreading? Nope, it's Code Red- everyone proceed into a confined area! Brilliant.

  And I'm still waiting on 28 months later. They really want us to forget that months exist.

  See it on the biggest, loudest screen possible and let those bagpipes, didgeridoos and spaceship foghorns envelop you in a spiritual experience. The production design, sound design, and scope of the project are unlike anything else out there. Even if we don't get a sequel, I just feel honored to have seen part one of an instant classic, a modern masterpiece.

  Did it have pacing issues? yes. Was it predictable as hell? Of course.

  But ultimately, I think it's fair to say the Russo brothers delivered on the hype and created a satisfying conclusion to the "Avengers" storyline, which is no small feat.

  I will say I was not as emotionally moved as those around me seemed to be, and I guess it's because I never developed the attachment to the characters that the general public did. In my mind, the…
