    Capernaum

It took me a few days to classify my thoughts:

Children smoking, human trafficking, arranged marriages.
“Capernaum” holds up a mirror to the shocking reality of how differently a person’s life can unfold on this planet, determined simply by BIRTH.

Everyday things like clean drinking water, regular showers, or a roof over our heads are often taken for granted as basic standards. Compared to this, my own worries suddenly seem incredibly small.

It’s hard to bear this injustice, yet the…

    What Maisie Knew

„…Eine Jakobinische Tragödie….“ ein Film der veranschaulicht wie unsichtbar die KLEINEN in der Welt der „großen“ sind

    +schauspielerische Leistung der kleinen „Maisie“

What truly matters in life ?

Subtle yet emotionally intense, „Like Father, Like Son“ shows Kore-eda’s ability to capture the complexities of human relationships with authenticity and grace.

    slow-paced but deeply engaging

This is my second Kore-eda Film, but I have to admit, I’m a huge fan of his work 🌸
