  A rom-com that avoids the clichés of Hollywood films. Makes some interesting editing choices. But the overall narrative structure felt a little too familiar. The ending also avoids the classic happy ending and does something refreshing and very charming.

  The main reason Watcher works well enough for me is Maika Monroe and her brilliant expressions, otherwise it's kind of a basic take on voyeurism, paranoia and loneliness. It's a solid piece though, given that it's a feature debut. The ending though... I wished for something a little bit different.

  Loveable earned a long and well-deserved standing ovation at its world premiere here at KVIFF.

  So honest and authentic. Maria is an exceptionally well-written, multi-layered character played by the amazing Helga Guren.

  Lots of people will definitely see themselves in this movie. Scandinavian cinema rocks!

  I love films about film-making, especially those about overlooked professions. “The Fall Guy” excels in that, not only highlighting stunt guys, but also their coordinator and other smaller and bigger professions which are indispensable in the extremely difficult film-making process. Make it a hit, go see it in the theatre!
