  This movie is so wild, they were making out in a sandstorm and sending telepathic encrypted messages through tennis serves. Also that trashy disco soundtrack had my heart beating. Also Luca casually repeated Elio’s outfits from CMBYN, like we wouldn’t notice.

  This felt like Wild Things but like good(?). Idk if it was good but feeling like 5 stars with this one.

  Update: ok so, this is more like a 3.5 star film, but I’m not changing my rating.

  Windshield reflecting leafless fallow trees, snowed in pathways, reminiscence of past loves, attempts to rediscover lost love, jeune lovers spiralling through crowded bazaar streets (a la Before trilogy) plotting to save mankind, crushed hearts on unearthing of innocent secrets. This film is a call for peace through love, in the wars set forth and prolonged by the generations of the past.
