    Mirror

    What if a film is a conscious entity in itself, spawned from a single creator? And what if, just like sentient beings, it dreams? And what if we were able to watch its dreams, or rather, watch it generate a stream of consciousness and have it unfold right in front of us? That is precisely what it felt like watching this as it constantly shifted, evolved, and through it's form and structure create a literal reflection of a life which is filled with memories (some sweet, some not) for the individual who lived said life to be endlessly engulfed by.

    Filled with grotesque, provocative imagery but never overtly indulges in it. Yet somehow gets you squirming and your heart pounding. Never did I ever fathom that a "simple" shot of a slimey, demonic hand sleazily grabbing hold of a person would so profoundly disgust me.

    Shot, edited and scored with such style and finesse one can't help but just fall in love with the filmmaking. Had a hard time falling asleep at night as all the images that appeared on screen just burned themselves into my mind.

    Also this was a debut film?!
