Good old Bollywood feel of a revenge for mother story. Not really sure how it ties up with the right wing environment it's set in. The same story could be placed in any other country with oppressive rule, or in a gangster world, or in 70s-80s Bollywood.
While it's unfortunate, sad and troubling that it's being delayed or will maybe never release theatrically in India, it isn't a brave attempt by any measure, for the amount of freedom USA has.…

The most unhinged FaFa performance that I've seen. And my bias for him brushes away a lot of the flaws in the film - underwritten teenage characters, a dragging second half, under explored theme of toxic love, generic villains and their usual tropes.
