Watched for the first time as an adult with my kids, so I have no nostalgic lens. This is a very stupid movie saved by its self awareness and its stars’ charisma. Some of the jokes totally got me. I dug the fourth wall breaking. My kids LOVED it, they were really into the slapstick fights.

La Chimera 2023
Trigger warning for crimes against antiquities. I liked a lot about this movie, which is sort of a shaggy hang out movie with a core of heartbreaking loss. I especially loved the ending. But some of my favorite scenes were Isabella Rossalini’s daughters descending and swirling around her like dragonflies.

Costner’s big speech, I could have sworn that came much later in the movie.
