A bit too preachy and sacharine at times but overall a work of oddball genius. Gosling and Robbie are an hilarious pairing and the 2001 spoof that kicks the film off was great. Not keen or fish but animated ones are cute. Found it hard cheering on a real crab! That said I wept as Riel and her Daddy issues reached a slushy climax and the battle with the sea witch was exciting. But overall the original charms more.
