A soft, endearing beautiful coming of age film. There's so much sense of honesty portrayed in how it captures the teen angst. Thanks to the charming performances the actors give, one is given characters that are interesting and well layered out. So far, the most unpleasant and stupidest movie I've seen. Nothing but manchildren whining for 90 minutes straight. I'm not even a Lucas die hard fan, but if you're gonna criticize his works, at least do it in an insightful way. Fanboy arguments and tantrums are not gonna help. No wonder Lucas left directing. I can't blame the guy. Criticism is one thing, which there are lot of fair stuff that can be said, but pure antagonizing and acting like an entitled baby is not the way. This was a pain to sit through.

I can totally understand separating the art from the artist. The artist can be the worst person, and liking his movies is fine as long as you separate it. But when that awful behavior starts sneaking into his filmmaking, THEN its a problem.
I should point out that this is technically not a terrible movie, but it is a generic action movie. It has solid performances, with Natalie Portman easily outshining the entire cast. The directing itself is alright. Nothing…
