  The Impure Version (which features occasional voice over, as screened at the 81st Venice International Film Festival).

  Interesting aesthetics, but gets old and repetitive fairly quickly. Very little sense of escalation and narrative drive really hurts the pacing.

  Liked the soundtrack tho... I'll definitely be bumping those end credits music later on.

  Hollywood, more like Hollyweird, amirite!!

  In all seriousness, this is an extraordinary work of pure, surrealist cinema. There were scenes where I was so on edge, and so hypnotised by the ambience - despite having seen it before! What a pleasure to see it in the cinema with a big crowd.

  And that Billy Ray Cyrus cameo is an all-timer for sure.
