Poorly written, poorly acted, corny, frustrating, offensive, insulting, soul-crushingly insulting, and just terrible. Just so bad. Anyone who thinks this is good- I'm sorry but I see none of it. Ghostbusters: Afterlife 2021
Utterly despicable. Somehow, this feels like the worst movie I’ve seen all year, which is impressive considering I’ve also seen Free Guy and Space Jam 2. This feels like a soulless cash-grab that has been completely sanitized of any originality, or any fresh ideas. The main character is literally mini-Egon, but female, down to the glasses. Absolute trash. I enjoyed Ghostbusters (2016) far more than this. Could not finish, the cringe was infecting my soul.
