Hearing Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' score in theaters :)
Seeing the opening tracking shot in theaters :)

A perfect movie. One of the best movies of the last 15 years. Fincher's best.

Aaron Sorkin really wrote this and then Moneyball the next year...

Lily-Rose Depp, I doubted you and I am sorry for that. Favorite performance of 2024.
Robert Eggers does what he always does and delivers an atmospheric, gothic spectacle. While I do think The Lighthouse is still his greatest work, I want to see Eggers take on more adaptations.

Some of it doesn't work, some cheap jump scares and choppy editing at times, but when you got Willem Dafoe delivering a pitch perfect title drop, it's more fun to look at beautiful snowy shots of carriages and dimly candle lit castle corridors than to worry about anything else.

Story-wise, I can understand if people claim that it’s less focused than the first one.…

And I ended up where I am. And it’s where I’m supposed to be.

It may not be the definite answer to life, but it is still an answer. Celine Song’s Past Lives have gotten some of the craziest high reviews I’ve seen from a debut director in recent memory and as soon as the trailer dropped, I put it on my watchlist. I’m glad I had the opportunity to watch it at TIFF Lightbox with a crowd that was…
